New Delhi, October 15 (IANS) | AIIMS on Friday said that the health of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is improving. An AIIMS official told IANS that Singh’s health condition is “now improving from infection due to fever”.
“The condition of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh is improving now. He is on IV to overcome the weakness,” the official said. He said Singh is not on ventilator support and his health is slowly improving. Singh was admitted to AIIMS on Wednesday evening after he complained of fever and weakness. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya had met him on Thursday morning and inquired about his health in detail.
A team of doctors under the guidance of Dr Nitish Nayak is treating the former PM. He developed fever three days ago and was taken to AIIMS. Singh had turned corona positive in April this year and was admitted to AIIMS.
