On hearing about this school, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, during his two-day stay in Bastar, today visited this school of village Madpal in Jagdalpur block. During this, he inaugurated the renovation work done at the cost of Rs.68 lakh and additional room constructed at the cost of Rs.31 lakh in this school.

Chief Minister Baghel went to the school’s Atal Tinkering Lab, Physics, Science and Chemistry lab, library and smart class of the school and inquired about the facilities available there and asked the children about them. On this occasion, an exhibition based on the subject of Mathematics and Science was also organized in the school premises. The Chief Minister went to this exhibition and saw the models prepared by the children and inquired about them in detail from the children. Children had made useful models on topics such as division of mathematics, concept of multiplication, measurement of distances, narva, garuva, ghurva and bari, drip irrigation, water recycling, environmental protection. Models of auto sanitizer, fog sanitizer were also prepared to protect against corona virus. The Chief Minister appreciated the imagination and creativity of the children. Many children had also prepared models based on jugaad from junk.
