At the Detective Comics (DC) fandome event, recently, ‘Wonder Woman’ director Patty Jenkins told in a conversation with actress Linda Carter that work on ‘Wonder Woman 3’ has started and things related to the film will be revealed soon. During DC Fandom 2021, it was also confirmed that ‘Wonder Woman 3’ will have not one but two Wonderwomen. Director Patty Jenkins has hinted that actress Linda Carter, from the classic Wonder Woman TV series (1975–79), may also appear in the film as Senior Wonder Woman.
Carter in the mid credits scene of ‘Wonder Woman 1984’
As fans will remember, in the mid credits scene of Wonder Woman 1984, Carter (Asteria) gives Gal Gadot the Golden Armor. It was revealed in this scene that Carter was actually Asteria, described as a great warrior. It now seems like the stage is being set for a third film, which might feature not one, but two Wonder Women after hearing the two chat during DC Fandome 2021.
Carter said this about his role
Carter said of the character during the conversation, “It’s a much more important role than a comic book character. It is an idea and the essence of life. Very little has been announced from Warner Bros about “Wonder Woman 3,” such as the film’s release date, but Jenkins is not only tied to the DC sequel.
