Jitiya Vrat 2024 Mothers will keep Jitiya fast on this day for the longevity of their children, note the date and time

Astrology News Desk: There are many fasts and festivals in Sanatan Dharma and all have their own importance but Jitiya fast is considered very special which is done for the long life and happy life and good health of the children. This fast is very special for mothers. According to the Hindu calendar, Jitiya fast is done every year on the Ashtami Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Ashwin month.

It is believed that keeping Jitiya Vrat with proper rituals brings welfare to the children in every way and also gives the blessing of long life and healthy life, so today we are telling you through this article that when will Jitiya Vrat be observed this year, so let us know.

Date and time of Jitiya fast-
According to the Hindu calendar, the Ashtami Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Ashwin month is starting on 24th September at 12:38 pm and this Tithi will end on the next day i.e. 25th September at 12:10 pm. According to the same Udaya Tithi, this year Jitiya fast will be observed on Wednesday, 25th September.

Let us tell you that Jitiya Vrat will start on 24th September with the worship of Nahai Khas and Jitiya Vrat will be observed on 25th September. The auspicious time for the worship of Jitiya Vrat on Wednesday, 25th September will be from 10:41 am to 12:12 pm. Performing Puja in this Muhurta will be beneficial.
