Due to increasing number of passengers after festivals, Railways has announced additional trips of Vande Bharat Special train between New Delhi and Patna. According to Chief Public Relations Officer Saraswati Chandra, train number 02252/02251 New Delhi-Patna-New Delhi Vande Bharat Special will be run from New Delhi on 01.12.2024 and 04.12.2024 and from Patna on 02.12.2024 and 05.12.2024.
Impact of work on Kotshila station of Adra division
There has been change in operation of some trains due to yard remodeling and NI works at Kotshila station of Adra division. Train No. 13504/13503 Vardhman-Hatia-Vardhman Express is canceled from 30.11.24 to 05.12.24. Similarly, train number 08641/08642 Adra-Barkakana-Adra MEMU special will not run from 01.12.24 to 05.12.24.
Trains operating on diverted routes
Train No. 18628/18627 Ranchi-Howrah-Ranchi Express will be run on 01.12.24 via Muri-Gunda Bihar-Chandil-Tata-Kharagpur route. On 01.12.24, Anand Vihar-Puri Express train number 18428 will run via Gomo-Anara-Purulia-Chandil.
Trains operating on different routes
On December 1, 2024, train number 12366 Ranchi-Patna Jan Shatabdi Express and on 03.12.2024, train number 12020 Ranchi-Howrah Shatabdi Express will run via Muri-Barkakana-Chandrapura. Train No. 12019 Howrah-Ranchi Shatabdi Express will run on Chandrapura-Barkakana-Muri route on 02.12.2024 and 05.12.24.
rescheduled operations
Train No. 02831 Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar Special originating from Dhanbad on 05.12.2024 will run with rescheduling of one hour.
