To apply for this card, Aadhaar card, PAN card, residence certificate in Delhi, passport photo and bank KYC documents will be imposed.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the automatic testing station at Nandanagari depot today. During this, he said that it is a priority of the Delhi government to empower DTC financially. At present, there is a loss of Rs 65 thousand crore on DTC. Our intention is to bring the DTC to the profit from this deficit. The Chief Minister informed that the route chart of DTC buses is being prepared in Delhi afresh. The help of experts from IIT Delhi is being taken in this work. After the creation of a new route chart, the journey of passengers will be more convenient.
Let us tell you that the former Aam Aadmi Party government of Delhi started a free travel facility for women in DTC buses in 2019. Any woman could take advantage of this scheme whether she was from Delhi or any other state, but now it will not happen. Till now women had to take a pink ticket after climbing the bus which was free, although it was mandatory to take it. At the same time, the Aam Aadmi Party, while targeting the Delhi government, accused the people of Delhi of gradually abolishing the government facilities.
