At least five people from ‘New Town’ were arrested early Saturday in the case of murder of gangster Chandan Mishra at a hospital in Patna. Police gave this information.
Police said the accused were arrested from a residential complex in ‘New Town’ after a raid by Patna Police and West Bengal Special Work Force (STF).
Chandan Mishra, convicted of a murder case, was a resident of Buxar district of Bihar and was out of jail on parole. He was shot dead by gunmen on Thursday morning at a private hospital in Patna.
Earlier, the police had some pictures of the police in the case of shooting and killing the notorious criminal Chandan Mishra under the Paras Hospital in Patna, the capital of Bihar. Some pictures were revealed from the CCTV footage installed in the hospital. In the pictures, criminals are seen riding on the bike and waving guns in their hands. According to the police, this picture is probably after executing the incident.
The chief criminal involved in the incident was identified as Tausif Emperor, who is a resident of Phulwari Sharif. He is a contract killer by profession. Police are trying to find out whether Tausif carried out the incident to avenge his old enmity or someone gave him a betel nut to do so. Apart from this, cases are also registered under the Arms Act on Tausif.
All the killers involved in the incident were identified. Apart from Tausif, Aqib Malik, Sonu, Kalu alias Mustakim and Bhendi alias Balwant Singh were also involved in the incident. SSP Karthikeya Sharma himself gave information.
