Lord Shri Krishna performed ‘Raas Leela’ on this day, hence it is also called Raas Purnima. On this day, one should take bath in the morning and worship Lord Krishna or Vishnu or one’s favorite deity and observe fast. On this day, prepare kheer from cow’s milk, mix ghee and sugar in it and offer it to God at midnight and keep the kheer in the moonlight. By doing this, nectar is obtained from the rays of the moon.
