Known as a Soviet-Russian lieutenant general, inventor, military engineer, author and weapons designer, Mikhail’s company Kalashnikov is now going into the electric car business. The company first unveiled its electric car CV-1 concept in the year 2018.
According to local reports from Russia, now the company has filed a patent for its new electric vehicle under the name Kalashnikov Izh UV-4. Reportedly, this new electric car is set to capture the market which is currently dominated by European brands like Tesla, Mercedes, Volkswagen and Renault of America. Although it is not yet clear when the production of UV-4 will be started, but Kalashnikov is aiming that it will be launched in the market soon.

Talking about the size of this car, according to the reports, its length is 3.4 meters, width is 1.5 meters and height is 1.7 meters. This car has been specially designed for the urban area, which will be easy to drive even in heavy traffic areas. Although no information has been shared officially by the company, but reports suggest that this electric car will give a driving range of up to 150 km on a single charge.
It is also reported that the company is also working on a three wheeler electric vehicle. Whose exterior will be very similar to the UV-4 model, but some doors can be reduced in it. This too is being prepared for the City itself and as of now no information has been received about its battery and other mechanism.
