New Delhi. Chinese company BYD, which manufactures electric vehicles, is selling the Atto 3 EV SUV to capture the Indian market. The same BYD has introduced a powerful hybrid SUV like the G-Class. Here the Sealed EV sedan launch is expected later this year. Chinese carmaker BYD is targeting the Mercedes-Benz G-Class with a new hardcore off-roader set to be launched in China in 2023 and in the global market from 2024. A video released online depicts its prototype. The 5-seater hybrid SUV is the first in the Chinese firm’s new F model line, which plans are on to expand to include other SUVs and pickup trucks in the future.
Let us tell you that the details of this off-roader go under the codename SF. It can be unveiled at the Shanghai Motor Show in April 2023. However, BYD officials have said that it will be closer to 5,000mm in length and have a wheelbase of 2,850mm. BYD said the SF will be powered by a new petrol-electric hybrid drivetrain with 671hp beating the Mercedes-Benz G63. Drive is transferred via an automatic gearbox and 4-wheel drive.
