Demand for electric vehicles is increasing around the world, with most countries trying to reduce their dependence on conventional petrol and diesel. In this sequence, China’s famous vehicle manufacturer Changen has launched a new electric SUV in association with electronic device maker Huawei and CATL. This joint venture has named its new SUV as AVATR E11.
According to media reports, this electric SUV gives a driving range of up to 700 km in a single charge. Not only this, this electric SUV is also very special in the matter of pick-up, the company claims that this car is capable of catching the speed of 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 4 seconds.
The electric car has been developed by Avatar Technology, a joint venture between three companies – Huawei, CATL and Chang’an Automobiles. It is a high-end all-electric vehicle developed by this joint venture. This electric SUV comes with a sporty design and also has split LED headlamps. Its front is completely covered and it also gets hidden body integrated door handles and sleek LED taillights. Apart from this, the big and sporty wheels make this electric car bold. The length of the AVATR E11 electric SUV is 4.8 meters.
What is the price:
This electric SUV has been launched in the Chinese market at a price of 300,000 yuan, which is roughly equivalent to Rs 35 lakh. The production and distribution of this SUV is expected to start in the third quarter of next year. The joint venture plans to introduce several other electric models in the next few years.
