It has been barely a week since Tata Motors launched the new Nexon EV Max with a bigger battery and longer range. But now the company has increased the prices of its popular electric cars Nexon EV and Tigor EV in the line-up. The prices of both the electric cars have been increased by Rs 25,000.
The company has recently launched the new Nexon EV Max with more range. The company introduced it in two variants XZ + and XZ + Lux. Prices start at Rs 17.74 Lakh ex-showroom, and go up to Rs 19.24 Lakh ex-showroom.
Tata Motors’ popular electric SUV Nexon EV is equipped with a 40.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Its ARAI certified range gives 437Km on a single charge. The car has a 105 kW motor that generates power of 143PS. It has 3.3 kW charger or 7.2 kW AC fast charger options. The company claims that the Nexon EV Max gets charged from 0 to 80% in just 56 minutes with any 50 kW DC fast charger.
Tata Tigor EV price starts from Rs 11.99 Lakh and goes up to Rs 13.14 Lakh (ex-showroom). It comes in three variants XE, XM and XZ. Its motor generates 75 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque. It takes 60 minutes to charge its battery with a fast charger. At the same time, its battery takes 8.5 hours to charge from 0 to 80 percent with a standard wall box charger. This vehicle gives a range of 306 km in ARAI certified single charge.
