New Delhi. Indian electric vehicle company Hero Electric has made a huge profit in the festive season this year. The company sold a total of 24,000 units of electric vehicles during October 1 to November 15 this year, which is the company’s record sale. In last year’s festive season, the company sold 11,339 units. In such a situation, this year the company has done a great job with more than double the sales, due to which there is tremendous enthusiasm in the company.
Reason behind Hero Electric’s record sale
While people were troubled by the revised FAME II policy and the rising price of petrol and diesel, the demand for electric vehicles also increased. The subsidy on electric vehicles is also given by the government more than on petrol-diesel vehicles. Keeping all these things in mind, Hero Electric has offered attractive offers like ’30 days, 30 bikes’ on its electric vehicles like e-scooters, e-bikes and e-cycles as compared to last year’s festive season. More than double sales this year.

Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric, said, “We saw 2 clear signs in our showrooms this festive season. A large section of the customers have opted for the electric bikes of our company instead of opting for the petrol bikes keeping in mind the environment and its sustainability. This augurs well for Hero and the E2W industry to take a big growth spurt and drive the electric vehicle revolution, which will help reduce air pollution and make our cities a better place.”
