A few days ago this vehicle was spotted during testing, in which a little glimpse of Seltos is also seen.
It also gets a slightly longer wheelbase along with adjusting for better space in the third row of seats with sharp shoulder lines. At the rear, the new model gets an upright rear. According to media reports, the new model gets “usable” third row seats, which will result in better legroom than most of its rivals.
Engine Capacity:
In this new MPV of Kia, the company can use petrol and diesel engines of 1.5 liter capacity. Let us tell you that this engine has already been given in Seltos and Sonnet. Although complete information about its power output is not yet available, but it is believed that it will be similar to the current models.
In this MPV, the company can offer a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which can be connected to Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Apart from this, features like fully-digital instrument cluster, wireless charger, sunroof, cruise control, BlueLink connectivity feature, USB charging port, cooled glovebox will make this car even better.
Compete with:
The Multi Purpose Utility Vehicle (MUV) segment in the Indian market is mainly divided between two models among the customers. There is one affordable segment among which the Maruti Ertiga is the most popular and the other are those who are willing to spend more money and the Toyota Innova Crysta is in demand among them. Kia expects this upcoming MPV to compete with both these models, but experts believe that this will mainly increase the problems of Ertiga.
