Kia India launched the Carens in the Indian market in mid-February 2022. Since then, there has been a tremendous response from the customers regarding this vehicle. Since the opening of the bookings, within two months, the bookings of the carriers have reached 50,000. However, due to high demand and shortage of semiconductors, the waiting period of this vehicle is running long. At present, work is going on in three shifts in the factory located in Andhra Pradesh.

Kia Carens price ranges between Rs 9.59 Lakh to Rs 17.69 Lakh (ex-showroom). The waiting period has gone up to 74-75 weeks on the base 1.5-litre Premium and Prestige MT trims. The waiting periods for the Kia Cairns 1.4-litre Petrol Premium, Prestige and Prestige Plus trims are 22-23, 18-19 and 13-14 weeks respectively. Customers will have to wait 28-29, 18-19, 13-14 and 22-23 weeks for the 1.4-litre Prestige Plus DCT, Luxury MT, Luxury Plus MT and Luxury Plus DCT trims.

The diesel variants of the Kia Cairns have a waiting period of 33 weeks on the Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus and Luxury MT trims as compared to the turbo petrol trims. Also, waiting periods on Luxury Plus manual six-seater, Luxury Plus manual seven-seater, Luxury Plus automatic six-seater and Luxury Plus automatic seven-seater trims are 13-14, 22-23, 28-29 and 38-39 weeks. is of
