Lucknow News: The Municipal Corporation Lucknow launched a big campaign on Tuesday, taking a tough stand against the property tax defaulters. During this campaign, teams of six zones have recovered a total of 18,06,069.10. Which is more than about 18 lakh rupees. The city commissioner said that this campaign is part of the municipal corporation’s zero tolerance policy. He said that the corporation has to protect the interests of honest citizens, who pay tax regularly.
Description of this zone wise recovery
Campaigns against those who do not deposit property tax in the city will continue. Under this campaign, outstanding taxes were charged from many major properties. Action was taken in Sitapur Road and Keshav Nagar in Zone 3. Where 61,740.51 from Tikaram, 1,17,891.74 from Fakhruddin and 85,580.85 from Vidya Srivastava were recovered. Zone 4 recovered 41,127 from Syed Mohammad Atik Shah in Chinhat Bazar area, 20,000 from Sarwar Jahan and 50,000 from Dinesh Chandra Sharma.
9,61,099 recovery from two buildings
70,000 from Arun Shukla and 40,000 were recovered from Arun Shukla in Indralok area of Zone 5. Kanhaiya Madhavpur in Zone 6 and Mo in Lal Ji Tandon area. 30,000 was recovered from Zubair, 50,000 from Lucknow Finishing cardboard factory and 1,70,683 from Udan Kumar. In Zone 7, 10,044 from Pradhan Yadav, 32,000 from Roopchandra, 48,002 from Sia Ram and 17,901 from Birendra Pandey. Zone 8 was the biggest recovery, where the outstanding tax of 9,61,099 was charged from two buildings of SN Ahuja.
