New Delhi. Mahindra, one of the largest automakers in India, has recently stopped the official production of its 7 seater SUV car Mahindra XUV500. One of Mahindra’s most successful vehicles, the company will no longer make more vehicles of this model of XUV500. Many big car dealers of the country have also confirmed this. While it can still be seen on the company’s website, it will soon be completely discontinued.
Reasons for discontinuing production of XUV500
Although the company has not given any reason for discontinuing the production of XUV500, it is believed that the decision has been taken after the company’s recently launched SUV Mahindra XUV700 received bumper advanced bookings.

The new model of XUV500 will be launched next year
The new model of Mahindra XUV500 will be launched next year. The company will launch the new model of XUV500 as a 5-seater car in the Indian market and will compete with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Hector and Tata Harrier.
