Maruti Suzuki Discount Offer: Maruti Suzuki, the leading car manufacturer in the Indian market, is offering many attractive offers to promote the sale of its cars. Recently, the company has shared information about reducing the price of its two very popular entry-level cars before the festive season. Car manufacturer Maruti is making every possible effort to increase the sales of its small cars. Under this new discount scheme, the company is giving the benefit of reduction of Rs 2,000 to Rs 6,500 in the price of its best-selling cars Alto K10 and S-Preso to the customers.
Maruti’s small car sales are getting affected
With the increasing trend of sports utility vehicles, the sales of entry level cars are getting badly affected. This is the reason why Maruti has decided to cut the price of entry-level cars in view of their falling sales. If we look at the sales report of these cars last month, the sales of this segment have been 10,648, which was 12,209 in August last year. At the same time, the sales of popular compact cars like Baleno have also come down by 20 percent. The sales of these vehicles have been continuously decreasing for the last few months. Their overstock is accumulating with the dealers. According to the sales report of the month of August, the sales of Maruti’s small cars have decreased by 18 percent on an annual basis.
New prices of Alto K10 and S-Presso
Talking about the new prices of two popular entry level cars offered by Maruti Suzuki India under the discount, the VXI variant of Alto K10 is getting the benefit of saving Rs 6,500. The affordable hatchback is priced between Rs 3.99 lakh and Rs 5.96 lakh ex-showroom. The price of the LXi variant of the S-Preso has been discounted by Rs 2,000. Now the starting price of this car has come down below the budget of Rs 5 lakh. Earlier the price of this variant was Rs 5.01 lakh. At the same time, after the discount, the new price of Maruti Suzuki S-Preso starts from Rs 4.26 lakh and goes up to Rs 6.11 lakh. The price cut of select variants of both the cars has been announced in a regulatory filing.
