The Maruti Suzuki Fronx was first unveiled to the public at the Auto Expo in January this year. Now the company has officially launched it in the Indian market. For its new four wheeler (Maruti Suzuki Fronx), the carmaker has claimed a mileage of 22.89 kmpl mated to the 1.2L Dual Jet-AMT gearbox. Whereas, with the manual version, the car 1.2 liter petrol easily gives 21.79 kmpl. Whereas, the 1.0L Boosterjet variant returns a mileage of 21.50 kmpl with the manual and 20.01 kmpl with the automatic gearbox.
The model lineup comes in 5 trims
The model lineup of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV launched in India comes in 5 trims. First is sigma, second is delta, third is delta + fourth is alpha. Apart from this, you will also get two petrol engine options. The first is a 1.0L turbo and the second is a 1.2L naturally aspirated. The first engine option of Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV i.e. 1.0 liter turbo generates 147.6Nm torque with power of 98.6bhp. So on the other hand, the second petrol engine (naturally aspirated engine) outputs 88.5bhp and 113Nm.
There will be three options for gearbox in the car
Those who want to own the Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV launched in India will get three gearbox options for it. First gearbox 5-speed manual, second 6-speed automatic and third 5-speed AMT.
