Ending the wait, Maruti Suzuki has today launched its most luxurious vehicle in India, the new 2022 XL6. The biggest updates on the six-seater MPV are a 1.5-litre petrol engine with DualJet technology and a mild-hybrid system mated to a new 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Many cosmetic changes have been made in its exterior and interior as well.

The company has launched it in the market in the price range from Rs 11.29 lakh to Rs 14.55 lakh. The manual variant of the new XL6 ranges from Rs 11.29 lakh to Rs 13.05 lakh while the automatic variant costs Rs 12.79 lakh to Rs 14.55 lakh. All these prices are ex-showroom. The Maruti XL6 can be purchased with a subscription plan option of Rs 25,499 per month.
On the new XL6, you will get an updated grille with chrome, a new chrome bar on the tail gate and new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. It also gets a contrasting black roof with new dual-tone color options – Silver, Brown and Red.

Features
Maruti has standardized the new XL6 facelift with four airbags, 360-degree parking camera and 7-inch touchscreen in the top-spec trim. Suzuki Connected Car features have also been given in it. Apart from this, features like new telescopic adjustments for the steering wheel, new ambient footwell lighting, new front door lamps, full-LED headlamps, automatic AC, cooled cupholders, new tire pressure monitoring system, ESP and hill hold assist have also been provided.

Maruti Suzuki’s new K15C 1.5-litre dual-jet petrol engine has been given in this premium multi-purpose vehicle (MPV). This engine generates power of 115hp. It will be mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Now after launch, it will compete with Mahindra Marazzo, Kia Carens and Ertiga. The updated XL6 is priced at Rs 1.81 lakh more expensive than the outgoing model, starting from Rs 9.48 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new MPV will be sold through Maruti’s Nexa line of premium dealerships.
