Mercedes-Benz India has announced an increase of up to three percent in the prices of all its models with effect from April 1. The company said on March 17 that it was taking this step due to increase in cost of production. After this price hike, the cars of the Pune-based company will become costlier by Rs 50,000 to Rs 5 lakh.
The luxury car company said in a statement, “The prices of the entire model range will increase by up to three percent. The cost of production is increasing continuously along with logistics, due to which we have to take this step. “Because of this we have to increase the showroom prices of all our models.”
According to Mercedes Bench India, the price of the A200 limousine will start at Rs 42 lakh from April 1. The starting price of the GLA model will be Rs 45 lakh, GLC 200 Rs 62 lakh, GLE D4M Rs 86 lakh, GLS 400 d4M Rs 1.16 crore and LWB E-Class 200 Rs 71 lakh.
Apart from this, the starting showroom price of S-Class 350 d will be Rs 1.6 crore, AMG E 63 S 4matic (CBU) will be Rs 1.77 crore, AMG-GT 63 S 4 Door Coupe (CBU) will be Rs 2.7 crore.

Let us tell you that earlier Maruti, Mahindra, Toyota, Reynold, Hyundai and Honda companies had also increased the prices of all their models due to the increase in the cost of production.
