Maruti New Alto: Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) can launch its all new Alto by the end of this year. However, the prices of the new Alto are visible on the company’s official website. New is written in front of Alto on the website. Its Delhi ex-showroom price is Rs 4.08 lakh. This price is for the LXI (O) variant of the Alto. Explain that the company has discontinued the base variant of Alto due to single airbags. However, the base variant is still visible in the price list. Its price is Rs 3.39 lakh.
According to the information given on the website, there will be four variants of Maruti’s new Alto. That is, the company has removed Alto STD (O). Now only Alto LXI (O), Alto VXI, Alto VXI+ and Alto LXI (O) CNG will be available. Their ex-showroom price ranges from Rs 4.08 lakh to Rs 5.03 lakh. Earlier the price of its base variant was Rs 3.39 lakh. That is, the starting price of the new Alto is Rs 69 thousand more. However, looking at the photo of Alto, it is known that it is not an all new model.

According to the website, the new Alto has a 796cc 3-cylinder, 12-valve engine. It generates power of 35.3 kW @ 6000 rpm and peak torque of 69 Nm @ 3500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5 speed gearbox. Its petrol variant gives a mileage of 31.59Km/kg and the petrol variant gives a mileage of 22.05km/l. The car has a dual tone interior. For safety, it has dual airbags, ABS with EBD. It also gets child lock and smart parking sensors. It has a 7-inch touchscreen display.
The new generation will get a 1.0-litre engine
According to the news, the new generation Maruti Alto is expected to get the new K10C Dualjet 1.0L 3-cylinder petrol engine with start/stop system. This engine can generate power of 67bhp and torque of 89Nm. It will also come with a 796cc, 3-cylinder petrol engine that is good for 47bhp and 69Nm of torque. The new Alto is expected to get both manual and AMT gearboxes. The hatchback is also likely to come with a CNG version.
