If you are in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh and planning to go somewhere by e-rickshaw, then you may have to change the plan. In fact, it has been decided to ban e-rickshaws on some routes for smooth and jam-free traffic in Lucknow. According to the notification issued by DK Thakur Police Commissioner, Lucknow Commissionerate, from May 12, there is a complete ban on e-rickshaw driving and parking on 11 routes of Lucknow. It has been said to strictly follow this order. According to him, this order has been issued for smooth and jam free travel.

1. Hazratganj Square to Warlington Square Via Royal Hotel
2. Hazratganj Chauraha to Bandariabagh Chauraha
3. Hazratganj Chauraha to Sikandrabagh Chauraha
4. Hazratganj to Parivartan Chowk Via Alpha, Mayfair, Valmiki Tiraha, Press Club, English Sansthan, KD Singh Stadium
5. Bandariabagh Square to Polytechnic Crossroads Lohia Path
6. Amausi to Barabirwa
7. From Ahimamau to Arjunganj Bazar to Rajman Chowki to Kataipul to Lalbatti Chauraha
8. From Pickup Bridge Dhal to Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Vijayipur Underpass and from Indira Gandhi Pratishthan intersection to Highcot Gate No. 3 upto and from Indira Gandhi Pratishthan Crossroads to Gomtinagar Railway Station Road Tirahe

Yogi Adityanath had also expressed concern
UP CM Yogi Adityanath had expressed concern about road accidents a day earlier. He said that accidents happen every day due to overspeed on highways and expressways. In such a situation, the system of black spot correction, speed measurement, quick medical facility, CCTV etc. should be further improved. Highest 33.4% of road accidents are related to two wheeler drivers. 38.4% of accidents are due to overspeed, 9.2% of mobile use while driving and 6.6% of accidents are due to intoxication.
