Ola Electric has overtaken Hero Electric to become the number 1 electric two-wheeler company in the country. It has been only 5 months for Ola to enter the Indian electric two-wheeler market. But last month, Ola Electric has overtaken Hero Electric in terms of sales.
According to the Ministry of Road Transport, the company sold the maximum number of electric scooters in April. Ola has sold 12683 units in the month of April. Hero Electric was able to sell only 6570 units with a drop of 50 per cent and was at the third position in April. The second place went to Okinawa Ototech, which has sold 10,000 electric scooters.
Ola Electric has priced the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro Scooter from Rs 85 thousand to Rs 1.10 lakh. Ola S1 is priced at Rs 94,999 in Maharashtra, Rs 89,968 in Rajasthan and Rs 79,999 in Gujarat. The Ola S1 Pro is priced at Rs 1,24,999 in Maharashtra, Rs 1,09,999 in Gujarat and Rs 1,19,138 in Rajasthan.
