Skoda Auto and Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) have seen tremendous growth in sales. Skoda Auto’s sales increased five-fold to 5152 units in April. A year ago in the same month, the company sold 961 vehicles.

57% jump in Toyota sales
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) sales jumped 57 per cent to 15,085 units in April. The company gave this information on Sunday. In April last year, the company had dispatched 9,600 vehicles to dealers. Atul Sood, Associate Vice President Sales and Marketing, TKM said, “Demand picks up in the new financial year. Our sales have grown by 57 per cent this year as compared to April, 2021.”
MG sales down 22%
MG Motor India sales declined by 22 per cent to 2008 units in April from 2565 units in April 2021. The company said in a statement that production was affected due to disruptions in the global supply chain due to the sudden new COVID lockdown in various parts of the world.
