suzuki Motorcycle India has reported that its sales declined by eight per cent to 71,987 units in April 2022 as compared to 77,849 units sold in the same month a year ago. Suzuki Motorcycles also said that its domestic sales stood at 54,327 units last month, while it exported 17,660 units in overseas markets.
Speaking about the two-wheeler manufacturer’s sales performance in April 2022, Suzuki Motorcycle India Managing Director Satoshi Uchida said in a statement that the two-wheeler industry continues to navigate through the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and semiconductor shortages. He also added that despite these challenges, Suzuki Motorcycle India has maintained its sales momentum. Uchida further added, “We look forward to exiting the supply chain so that we can meet the growing demand for the company’s two-wheelers in both domestic and overseas markets.”
