Tata Motors has increased the prices of its two popular cars in the first week of May 2022. Earlier, the company has increased the prices of its cars in January 2022 and March 2022.
The two cars that the company has increased the prices of are Tata Tiago and Tata Tigor, both of these cars are counted among the best selling cars of the company, in which the company has increased the price by 2.87 percent.
If you are planning to buy Tata Tiago Hatchback or Tata Tigor Sedan car, then you will have to pay more than Rs 15,000 to buy both these cars. Tata Motors has increased the price of both these popular cars, in which CNG variants of both these cars are also included.
Talking about the Tata Tigor sedan car, the company has launched 11 variants of this sedan so far. Out of which 10 variants of petrol and 5 variants of CNG are included.
If you buy the base model of Tata Tigor i.e. Tata Tigor XE, then for this you will have to pay 15 thousand rupees more. The initial price of Tata Tigor was Rs 582,900 (ex-showroom), which has now increased to Rs 597,900 (ex-showroom).

If you buy the top variant of Tata Tigor, then its ex-showroom price was Rs 811,900, which has now increased to Rs 826,900.
Talking about Tata Tiago, the company has made its base model i.e. Tata Tiago XE expensive. If you buy this car, then you will have to pay Rs 15,000 more for this.

The starting price of Tata Tigor base model was Rs 522,900 which has been increased to Rs 537,900. If you buy the top variant of this Tata Tigor, then for this you will have to spend Rs 732,900 and this price was Rs 717,900 earlier.
If you buy the CNG variant of this Tata Tiago, then now you will have to spend Rs 627,900 for this, whereas this price was Rs 612,900 earlier. If you buy the top variant in the CNG model, then now you will have to spend Rs 779,900 for this.
Tata Motors has attributed the increase in the price of its cars to the increase in the cost price. According to the company, a small part of the rising input cost has been credited to customers’ accounts.
