The electric vehicles of Tata Motors have shown tremendous performance. Tata’s electric car sales grew by 353% in FY22 as compared to FY21. In FY21, the company sold 4,216 electric vehicles. At the same time, in the last financial year, the company has sold 19,106 electric cars. There has been a 376 percent jump in the sales of electric cars in March 2022 as compared to March 2021. In March 2021, the company sold 705 vehicles. At the same time, in March 2022, the company has sold 3,357 vehicles.
Electric car sales jump 432 percent in the fourth quarter
Tata Motors sold 1,711 electric cars in the fourth quarter of FY21. At the same time, in the fourth quarter of the last financial year, the company has sold 9,095 electric vehicles. That is, there has been a jump of 432 percent in the sales of electric cars in FY 2022 as compared to the fourth quarter of FY 2021. Tata Motors says that in the fourth quarter of FY 2022, its sales in the domestic and international markets have been 2,43,459 vehicles. Compared to the fourth quarter of FY 2021, the company’s sales have been 27 percent higher. In the fourth quarter of FY 2021, the company sold 1,91,373 vehicles.

29559 SUV sales up, PV sales up 43% in March
Tata Motors has said that despite the shortage of electronic components, the company has achieved the highest ever quarterly sales. Domestic sales of passenger vehicles stood at 1,23,051 vehicles in the fourth quarter of FY 2022. It has registered a growth of 47 percent as compared to the fourth quarter of FY 2021. In the fourth quarter of FY 2021, 83,857 vehicles were sold. Domestic sales of passenger vehicles grew by 43 per cent in March 2022 as compared to March 2021. Apart from this, the company has sold 29,559 units of SUV, the highest ever in March.
