New Delhi. Japan’s largest automobile company Suzuki has introduced the new-generation model of its famous SUV S-Cross globally. The launch of this model was being discussed in the market for some time now and Suzuki has put an end to all those discussions and put an end to people’s wait to see the first glimpse of the S-Cross new-generation model.
Initially introduced for European market
The company has initially introduced the S-Cross new-generation model only for the European market. However, it will be introduced to other markets in the coming months as well. Its price has not been disclosed yet.
When will it be launched in India?
The company has not yet given information about the launch of the S-Cross new-generation model in India. Although the launch of this car with Maruti is likely to happen in India by next year.

Design and Features
The S-Cross new-gen model comes with redesigned circular fog lamps and bumpers with silver skid plates and fully LED headlamps. Also, square wheel arches and 17-inch alloy wheels have also been given in this new SUV. Along with this, the raced split tail lamp housing and angular-boot design, lac cladding and bash plate on the rear bumper give this car a new look.
On the interiors, the black-themed dashboard houses a large floating 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Along with this, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry, S-Cross autonomous emergency braking, 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, lane departure prevention, Suzuki Allgrip all-wheel-drive, 4 different drive modes Great features like Auto, Snow, Lock and Sport, Driver Assistance and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert are available in this SUV.

Engine and gearbox
The S-Cross new-gen model is powered by a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine mated to a 48V mild-hybrid system. This generates 127bhp and 235Nm of torque, which helps the car to get good mileage as well as the company has used a 6-speed gearbox with manual and automatic transmission.
