In view of the increasing pollution and meteorological disorders. Governments are now emphasizing on other alternative energy vehicles instead of conventional fuel vehicles. Seeing this change, many automobile companies are trying their hand in manufacturing and trading of electric vehicles. Meanwhile, the famous passenger transport company OLA has also entered the market of electronic vehicles. On August 15 this year, OLA had put the first glimpse of its brand new e-scooter in front of the world. Now the company is soon going to give its customers the opportunity to test drive the scooter. According to the company, after Diwali, customers can take a test drive of this scooter in India from 10th November.
OLA is launching its scooter in two variants, which will be as S1 and S1Pro. However, there is no significant difference in the structure of these two. But there is a difference in the battery of these two. The OLA S1 uses a 2.98 kWh battery as the power house, and the S1Pro uses a 3.97 kWh battery. While the OLA S1 will be able to run at a top speed of 90 kmph, the OLA S1Pro will be able to accelerate up to 115 kmph.
On the other hand, in terms of battery capacity, the OLA S1 can run up to 121 km on a full charge. On the other hand, the OLA S1Pro can be driven up to 181 km on a full charge. Its battery can be charged up to 50 percent in just 18 minutes.
The OLA S1 will be available in five color options and will have two driving modes which include Normal and Sports. Whereas the OLA S1Pro has 10 colors and three driving modes, which include Hyper apart from Normal and Sports.
The prices of both these variants will be something like this across the country. Different prices have been fixed by the states on the basis of subsidy provided on e-vehicles.
