New Delhi. The Czech Republic’s car maker Skoda has forayed into the mid-size SUV segment with the launch of the Skoda Kushaq a while back. The aim of the company to launch this car in India was to increase sales and it seems that the company has succeeded in its objective. The Kushak has lived up to the expectations of the company and has performed exceptionally well in the Indian market. The success of Kushak can be gauged from the fact that more than 5,000 units of this mid-size SUV have been booked in just 4 months.

Design and Features
The Skoda Kushaq features signature butterfly grille with black vertical slats and chrome surround with highlights, LED headlamps with integrated L-shaped LED DRLs, fog lights, silver skid plates and roof rails, LED taillights, 17-inch alloy wheels. Given, which give a great look to the design of this car.
Along with this, this mid-size SUV from Skoda will get electric sunroof, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, MirrorLink, 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ambient lighting, wireless charging, two-spoke steering wheel, ventilated front seats, cruise control and cooled glove- Features like box are also given. Engine and gearbox
The Kushak is powered by a 1-litre TSI engine, which generates 114bhp power and 178Nm torque. Along with this, a 1.5-litre TSI engine model is also available, which generates 148bhp power and 250Nm torque. The 1 liter engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and automatic transmission and the 1.5 liter engine uses a 7-speed DSG gearbox. Along with this, a 6-speed manual gearbox has also been included as a standard option.
