Toyota Kirloskar Motor introduced the Hilux Pik-Up in India in January 2021. After this, booking of Toyota Hilux was done from Rs 1 lakh. After this its delivery was to start from March. Now the latest update regarding this is that Toyota Hilux has started reaching the dealerships, from which it can be guessed that the launch of this vehicle may happen soon.

Features on the Hilux include cruise control, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, tilt and telescopic adjustments for steering, cooled glovebox, power-adjustable driver seat and two drive modes. It will be offered in Standard and High trims. It will be offered with both manual and automatic transmission options.

Toyota Hilux is powered by a 2.8-litre diesel engine (204 PS) from the Fortuner. It is mated to a 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox with the engine. This car is four-wheel-drive. Upon launch, the Toyota Hilux is likely to be priced starting at Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom) and will rival the Isuzu V-Cross.
