New Delhi. To make the traffic smooth and safe, there are traffic rules in the country, and it should be the duty of every countryman to follow them. If all the traffic rules are followed sincerely, then to a great extent a safe traffic environment can be created and road accidents can be prevented from happening. But, a large number of people violate the traffic rules, for which their challan is also deducted. Crores of challans are deducted in the country every year and fines of thousands of crores reach the government. But, despite this, there is no shortage of negligence. However, many times due to lack of knowledge of the rules, people inadvertently make such a mistake, which is a violation of traffic rules. Therefore, today we have come up with information about another traffic rule, failing which a heavy challan can be deducted.
Indicator required
Actually, it is necessary to give an indicator for changing lane or turning the vehicle so that the vehicles coming from behind can get the message that the vehicle ahead is about to change its lane or is about to turn. Noida DCP Traffic Ganesh Prasad Shah said that if a person goes in the wrong lane or changes the lane in an unsafe manner without turning on the indicator, on the highway beyond which the lane is fixed, then his challan is deducted. He said don’t change lane suddenly. If it is necessary to change lanes, first make sure that no other vehicle coming from behind is close by.
How much will the fine be?
According to a media report, a fine of up to Rs 10,000 can be taken for violating lane discipline in Delhi. However, the amount of the fine may vary from state to state. Actually, changing the lane without giving an indicator is seen as rough driving and for this reason the challan is deducted.
