Bank Holidays : Before the month of April is about to start, the Reserve Bank of India has released the holiday list of banks across the country. In which the holidays of Gudi Padwa and Chaitra Navratri are also included along with the holidays of Sundays and second and fourth Saturdays. According to the list of Reserve Bank of India, banks will be closed for 15 days in April 2022.
Let us tell you that due to annual closing on the first day in April 2022, banks will be closed across the country and on 2nd April is the first day of Gudi Padwa and Chaitra Navratri, due to this, banks will remain closed on 2nd April also.
Along with this, banks will also remain closed in many states on their local festivals. In such a situation, if you are going to the bank without knowing, then you can get the bank closed. Therefore, whenever you visit the bank, do check the list of holidays once.
There will be a holiday in the banks for 15 days – In our country, every state has a different culture and the festivals there are also different. This time in the month of April many local festivals including Baisakhi, birth anniversary of Babu Jagjivan Ram, Good Friday, Bihu are falling. Therefore, whenever you plan to go to the bank, then definitely go through the list of banking holidays. Because if that day is a bank holiday, then you will have to worry later.
