Share Market Today: In the midst of weak signals from the global market and on the first day of this trading week on Monday, the Sensex and Nifty have started trading with a fall. Sensex and Nifty are open on the red mark. Today the Bombay Stock Exchange’s 30-share Sensex opened at 54,223, down 612 points or 1.12 per cent. On the other hand, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange slipped 174 points or 1.06 to open at the level of 16,237.
With the opening of the market, a total of 1,838 companies started trading in the beginning, out of which about 782 shares opened up and 890 opened with a fall. At the same time, the share price of 166 companies opened without increasing or decreasing. Apart from this, today 27 shares are trading at 52 week high and 17 shares are trading at 52 week low. On the other hand, 83 shares have upper circuit since morning and 102 shares have lower circuit.
On Friday, there was a fall in the US markets. The Dow Jones lost 99 points to close at 32,899, while the Nasdaq lost 1.40 percent and closed at 12,144.66. While the S&P 500 lost 0.57 per cent to close at 4,123.34. According to experts, if the bond yield picks up further, then this week the market may weaken again. The 10-year bond yield in the US has reached a level of 3.121 per cent.
