By investing just 1 rupee, you will get the benefit of 12 lakhs, this scheme of the government is of great use.

New Delhi. Nothing can be said about when, from where, how death will come. Insurance schemes were started in the wake of any untoward incident so that after his departure, his family members could get some financial assistance. In order to secure the future, every person must have insurance. But in this inflationary era, it is not in everyone’s control to take medical, life or accident insurance. In view of all these things, the government has come up with such a scheme of insurance, under which a benefit of Rs 2 lakh can be taken by getting insurance in just Re 1 . Under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana’ run by the government, 2 lakh insurance cover can be availed by depositing only Re 1 in a month i.e. Rs 12 in a year. Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana was launched by the Central Government in the year 2015, with the aim of giving the benefit of social security to every section and citizen of the country.

Let us tell you, after getting insurance under the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, if a person becomes partially disabled due to any reason, then financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh will be provided to him. At the same time, if a person dies in an accident, then he is provided a financial benefit of Rs 2 lakh. Anyone in the age group of 18-70 years can invest in this scheme. To apply for PMSBY, the applicant must have an Aadhar card. Also, you should also have a savings account. So that the amount of premium of this scheme can be deducted from your bank account.

How to apply?

To apply for PMSBY, your account must be linked with Aadhar card. This process is completed every year before June 1 through a form received from the bank. After filling the form, it is necessary to get it renewed before 31st May.
