Donate a pension scheme will benefit lakhs of workers Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav said that the Iconic Week will be run by the Ministry of Labor, Government of India for the Donate a Pension Scheme. Under this scheme, workers working in the unorganized sector of the country can register on the e-shram portal. He told that lakhs of laborers of the country will get benefit in this scheme.
How to get the benefit of Donate A Pension Scheme – In this scheme, if the workers register at the age of 18 to 40, then they will have to pay a minimum of Rs 660 to 2400 as annual premium. After which, after the completion of 60 years of the worker’s age, a monthly pension of up to Rs 3,000 will be given by the central government. According to the government, this pension scheme will go a long way in helping the workers to earn a living.

The facility of e-shram portal will be available on UMANG App – The Ministry of Labor has started the facility of e-shram portal on UMANG App. According to the ministry, so far more than 25 crore workers have registered on the e-shram portal.
