Under this, now the PF deducting organization is going to put the interest money of the deducted amount in the account of EPFO employees. According to the information received, the interest money will be transferred to the account of more than 6 crore employees. It is being said that this money will come to all accounts by June 30. However, EPFO has not made any official announcement about this. It is worth noting that the government had decided to give 8.1 percent interest to PF employees in the financial year 2021-22, which is the lowest in comparison to the last 40 years. This decision to give money was taken during a meeting of the Central Board of Trustees of EPFO. At the same time, EPFO had transferred 8.5 percent interest money in all accounts in the financial year 2019-2020.
How to check PF money?
First of all, go to the Play Store App of your smartphone and download the Umang App. After that login to the app by registering your phone number. After login, go to the menu given in the top left corner and go to ‘Service Directory’ and search for the EPFO option and click on it. Here you will see the View Passbook option, go here and check the balance through your UAN number and OTP. At the same time, PF account holders can see all the details of their money by just giving a missed call. For this, they will have to make a missed call on the number 011-22901406 from the Universal Account Number i.e. UAN registered mobile number.
PF account balance can also be checked through SMS, but for this your UAN number must be registered with EPFO. To get information through SMS, you have to send SMS to 7738299899 by writing EPFOHO UAN from the registered mobile number.
