Gold Price Latest Rate: If a wedding or a special occasion is going to come to your house and you are planning to buy gold, then there is relief news for you. In this season of marriage, there has been a big drop in the rate of gold and silver. In the last one week, gold has become cheaper by more than Rs 1000 (Gold price today). At the same time, a fall of Rs 2,255 was seen in the price of silver throughout the week.
Gold and silver prices fell in a week
According to the Indian Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), there has been a big fall in the prices of gold and silver in the business week (May 9-13). On the first day of the business week i.e. on the evening of 9 May 2022 (Monday), the gold rate of 24 carat was Rs 51479 per 10 grams, which came to Rs 50465 on 13 May (Friday). During this, the price of 24 carat gold has declined by Rs 1,014 per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of a silver was Rs 61361 on 9 May, which came down by Rs 2255 to Rs 59106 per kg on 13 May.

22 carat to 18 carat gold price
Similarly, a fall of Rs 1010 has been recorded in the price of 995 i.e. 22 carat gold. The rate of 22 carat gold is currently at Rs 50263 per ten grams. Which was at Rs 51273 on Monday. At the same time, the price of 916 carat gold has seen a fall of Rs 929 per 10 grams in a week. It is currently selling at Rs 46226 per gram, on May 9 it was priced at Rs 47155. 750 carat gold fell by Rs 984 per 10 grams on Friday to Rs 37790 per 10 grams in a week i.e. against Rs 38774 on Monday. At the same time, gold of 585 carat fell by Rs 768 per ten grams to Rs 29476 per ten grams on Friday as against Rs 30244 on Monday.

Rate is not released on Saturday and Sunday
Significantly, Indian Bull and Jewelers Association (IBJA) does not release gold and silver rates on Saturdays and Sundays due to holidays. The rates of IBJA are universal across the country. However, the rate given on this website does not include GST. You can refer to the IBJA rate while buying and selling gold. According to the India Bullion and Jewelers Association, ibja takes the current rate of gold and silver from 14 centers across the country and gives its average value. The current rate of gold and silver or rather the spot price may differ from place to place, but there is a slight difference in their prices.
