In the Delhi Oil-Oilseeds Market, the prices of edible oils saw an all-round fall on Tuesday and the prices closed showing losses. Lentils sold costlier by Rs 50 per quintal.

Traders said the Malaysia exchange was down about 3.5 per cent, while the Chicago exchange was down nearly two per cent. Due to the declining trend in the foreign markets, the bearish trend in the local oil-oilseeds market was established and the prices of almost all edible oil-oilseeds closed showing losses.

Sources said that domestic oil is cheaper than imported oil and there was a record-breaking arrival of mustard in the mandis on Tuesday. The arrival of mustard in the mandis was about 15 lakh sacks.
Decrease in the price of groundnut oil, soybean refined in Indore
Groundnut oil and soybean refined fell by Rs 40 per 10 kg in Indore edible oil market. Kapasya cake sold at a cheaper rate of Rs 25 per 60 kg.
