New Delhi. There was an earthquake in the stock market today as soon as the report of American short seller company Hindenburg came. A period of selling started in the market and in just a few moments many shares fell hundreds of points. Several companies of Adani Group were included in the list of companies that filed bankruptcy. Many companies of the country’s largest business group fell more than 5 percent. However, the Adani group strongly denied the Hindenburg report, calling it baseless, malicious and at the same time motivated by self-interest. Releasing a long list of 88 questions, the US company accused the Adani Group of stock manipulation and accounting fraud, adding that it had found these irregularities during a two-year investigation.
At the same time, Adani Group rejected it outright and said that this report has been brought with the aim of harming the upcoming FPO of the group. The FPO of Adani Enterprises is coming in just a few days and it is India’s biggest FPO. However, amid these allegations and counter-allegations, anti-Modi groups have become active on Twitter and are demanding that a TV debate be held on this report.

Significantly, in the struggle to oppose the Modi government, many leaders of the country do not fail to take the help of foreign toolkits or propaganda. Amidst the ruckus over the recent BBC documentary, top Congress and TMC leaders openly supported it and also appealed to the people to watch it. Let us tell you that the British government-run BBC itself has come under the scanner many times and has been accused of one-sided reporting.
