Inflation has broken the back of common people. Like petrol and diesel every other day, now the rising prices of CNG and PNG have also increased the tension.
Then the price increased by 5 rupees: Once again the prices of CNG and PNG have been increased in Maharashtra. On Tuesday, the retail price of CNG has increased by Rs 5 per kg and that of PNG by Rs 4.50 per cubic metre. Announcing the increase in the prices of CNG and PNG, Maharashtra Gas Limited said that due to increase in cost, the price of fuels has to be increased. The increased rates will be applicable from Tuesday midnight.
This is the second increase in their prices in the last one week. Earlier on April 6, the price of CNG was increased by Rs 7 per kg and that of PNG by Rs 5 per cubic metre.

In this way, within a week, the price of CNG in Maharashtra has increased by Rs 12 per kg and that of PNG by Rs 9.5 per cubic meter. CNG in Mumbai is now Rs 72 per kg and PNG used in kitchens is Rs 45.50 per cubic metre.
