20% jump in the price of sunflower oil
According to the data given on the website of the consumer ministry, the average price of sunflower oil (pack) in India as on February 23 was Rs 151.08 per kg. Now on March 23, the price of sunflower oil jumped 20.72 percent to Rs 182.38. Similarly, soya oil, which is available for one kg at Rs 148.09, became costlier by 9.83 per cent to Rs 162.64.

Palm oil coming from abroad has become costlier by 13.65 percent to Rs 151.80 in a month. At the same time, there has been an increase of 5.30 in groundnut oil and 9.68 percent in vegetable. Contrary to all this, there has been a marginal increase of 0.19 per cent in mustard oil during this period.
Rice, flour, wheat become expensive
Common or special. The prices of flour, rice and wheat, which are included in the basic necessities of all, have also increased after the Russo-Ukraine war. Even salt has become costlier by 1.21 percent. While the rate of rice has increased by 2.04 percent on an average in this one month, wheat flour has become costlier by 2.17 percent.
