The farmers of the country are eagerly waiting for the installment of Rs 2,000 of PM Kisan Yojana. According to reports, in the first week of May, this installment can be transferred to the accounts of farmers. Eligible farmers who want to get the 11th installment of the scheme, they must get their KYC updated. Let us inform that the option of e-KYC has returned on the PM Kisan portal. Beneficiary farmers can now complete the Aadhaar based eKYC process online again sitting at home through OTP. In between, this service was temporarily suspended. E-KYC is mandatory for farmers registered in PM Kisan. So do get it done. PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi SchemeUnder this scheme, the beneficiary farmers get three installments of Rs 2,000 each in a year. In this way farmers get a profit of Rs 6,000 in a year.
Get e-KYC done like this
step 1. Go to PM Kisan website.
Step 2. Click on the e-KYC tab under ‘Farmers Corner’.
Step 3. On the next page enter the Aadhaar number and click on the Search tab.
Step 4. After this OTP will be received on the registered mobile number.
Step 5. Now click on ‘Submit OTP’ and enter the OTP.
These people will not get the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana
1. Not all institutional landholders can take advantage of this scheme.
2. Those farmer families in which one or more members belong to the following categories cannot take advantage of this scheme-
i. Are in constitutional posts or have been in the past.
ii. Former and present Ministers/Ministers of State, former or present members of Rajya Sabha/State Assemblies/Lok Sabha/State Legislative Councils, former and present Mayors of Municipal Corporations and former and present Speakers of District Panchayats.
iii. All serving or retired officers and employees of Central/State Government Ministries/Offices/Departments and its field units, Central or State PSUs and affiliated offices/autonomous institutions under the Government as well as regular employees of local bodies (Multi Tasking Staff) /lV Class/Except Group D Employees)
lV. All retired pensioners (except multitasking employees) drawing a pension of Rs.10,000 or more.
v. Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Chartered Accountants and Architects registered with professional bodies also cannot take advantage of PM Kisan Yojana.
vi. All those persons who had paid income tax in the previous assessment year also cannot avail the benefit of the scheme.
