The flight services of Akasa Air, the airline of stock market veteran Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, may be delayed. Actually, the airline expects to get its first aircraft in June or July this year. In such a situation, there may be a delay in the operation of the airline’s flights. An official of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) gave this information.

A DGCA official said, “Akasa Air has got delayed in getting the plane. The plane is expected to arrive in June or July. As far as other procedures are concerned, they are all on track.” At the same time, the airline company said in this regard that it expects to get the first aircraft by mid-June and the airline intends to start operations from July.
Vinay Dubey, Founder, Managing Director, Akasa Air said, “We are expecting to get the first aircraft by mid-June 2022. The first aircraft will help us get the operating permit. Thereafter, the certified flights will be operated as per regulatory requirements.
