New Delhi. Recently, the Reserve Bank of India had taken an important decision to demonetise the Rs 2,000 note. While issuing the notification, the RBI had told that it is going to take the 2000 note out of circulation. Means now 2000 notes will not be visible in the market. These notes will remain valid till 30 September 2023. People can easily change this note in banks till 30 September. Meanwhile, RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das has reacted to the withdrawal of 2000 notes from circulation. During this, he also gave a statement on bringing 1000 rupee notes. Shaktikanta Das said, there is no plan of RBI to bring a note of one thousand rupees. The speculations were being made that one thousand note would be introduced in the coming time. The RBI governor has made it clear regarding that, at present there is no such plan.
