Oil marketing companies like IOC, HP, BPCL have released new rates of petrol and diesel for Friday as well.
Even today, the costliest petrol in the country is Rs 123.47 per liter in Parbhani, Maharashtra, diesel at Rs 107.68 per liter in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, while the cheapest petrol in the country is Rs 91.45 in Port Blair and diesel is ₹ 85.83 a litre.
Let us tell you that the prices of petrol and diesel in the country started increasing from March 22 last after 137 days of stability. Companies increased the prices of petrol and diesel 14 times in 45 days. During this, their prices have increased by about Rs 10 per liter. Since then there is peace in it for 37 consecutive days.
