Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal United has demanded from the BJP government regarding the increase in oil prices and inflation, that the government should take immediate steps.
JDU Chief General Secretary KC Tyagi says that the Center should immediately take steps in this direction and reduce the prices of petrol, diesel and LPG. He says that this move of the government is also affecting those people who had voted with great enthusiasm to form the BJP government.

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav targeted the BJP and said that it has become a company which is recovering the increased cost from the public. He tweeted that in today’s inflationary era, companies are recovering increasing costs from the public but are not reducing their profits. The role of the government in a democracy is not to rule but to make such policies which are in the public interest. So that no one can exploit and harass the public. BJP has become a company.
Petrol and diesel prices were again increased by 80 paise per liter on Tuesday. A total increase of Rs 9.20 per liter has been done in the last two weeks. According to oil companies, the price of petrol in Delhi has increased from Rs 103.81 per liter to Rs 104.61 per liter and diesel from Rs 95.07 per liter to Rs 95.87 per liter. Prices have been increased nationwide, but prices vary from state to state based on local taxes. Petrol and diesel prices were increased on March 22 after remaining stable for nearly four and a half months. The price has been increased for the 13th time since then.
In today’s inflationary era, companies are recovering the increasing cost from the public but are not reducing their profit.

Preparation for increase of up to 25 percent in freight in Madhya Pradesh
After the price of diesel crossed Rs 100 per liter in Madhya Pradesh, the transporters have decided to increase the freight fare by 20 to 25 percent. Due to this effect, the inflation of everyday necessities is believed to increase. On Tuesday, the price of diesel in Indore increased by 82 paise to Rs 100.39 per liter. In Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior and other major cities of the state, the price of diesel has crossed the level of Rs 100 per liter. Vijay Kalra, vice-president of the Western Zone unit of All India Motor Transport Congress, said that due to the continuous increase in diesel prices, we have no option but to increase the freight.
