Zomato Founder and CEO Deependra Goyal on Monday announced that his platform will soon deliver food in 10 minutes. He has said that there will be no compromise on the quality of the food and the safety of the delivery partner. Announcing the launch of Zomato Instant, Goyal said in a blogpost that no one in the world has ever delivered hot and fresh food in 10 minutes on a large scale. The company wants to be the first to create this category globally.
Zomato shares closed at Rs 80.20
Zomato has said that the instant delivery will be without compromising on quality and safety. It will be based on 8 principles, which include the highest quality of fresh food and world class hygiene practices. “Each of our finishing stations will house bestseller items (20-30 dishes) from different restaurants based on demand forecast and hyper local preference,” Zomato said. Shares of Zomato closed 0.80 per cent lower at Rs 80.20 on the National Stock Exchange on Monday.

Rs 169 is the 52 week high of the company’s shares
Zomato’s founder and CEO Deependra Goyal has said that Zomato’s average delivery time of 30 minutes is very slow right now, and will be out of trend soon. “If we don’t take it out, someone else will do it,” he said. Shares of Zomato have fallen up to 43 per cent so far this year. The 52-week high of the company’s shares is Rs 169. At the same time, the low-level for 52 weeks is Rs 75.50.
