12 new age courses will be started in 20 state industrial training institutes (ITIs) of the state. The officers of the level of Joint Director have been given the responsibility of making all the arrangements related to this. Drones will also be trained in the New Age course, for which nine ITIs have been identified. In future, 25 more ITIs will be prepared for drone training.
This information was given by Harikesh Chaurasia, Special Secretary and Director Training and Employment, Department of Vocational Education and Skill Development. He said that the officers have been instructed to prepare a proposal related to the new age course, in which it will also have to be mentioned that what will be the benefit of choosing the trade and getting its training? The Joint Directors, who have been given the responsibility of starting new age courses in ITIs, will also have to do the work of providing trade related courses, study materials and special training to the instructors who impart training in the trade.
